Here is a splendid brooch from Miriam Haskell. This brooch is unsigned and probably dates to the forties. This brooch is featured in the Cathy Gorden book about Haskell. The design is attributed to Frank Hess

This brooch is made by wiring the rhinestone studded leaf components to a mesh style frame back. Assorted sized of bright coloured beads are then strung on and attached to the same frame. This early Haskell brooch features a simple c catch for a fastener. This brooch measures 3.25 inches/8 cm wide. The cluster of beads on top of the brooch give the brooch a lot of depth so this is a really lovely brooch.
