Set of 2 Antique Noritake Porcelain Hand Painted Roses Celery/Pickle Serving Dishes, Made in Japan
Excellent Antique condition: Minimal wear like scuffs on the bottom rim that is to be expected with age; no cracks, no crazing; small almost unnoticeable chip on the underneath rim (see photos). Does not affect the performance of the dish nor is it visible.
Pattern not faded or marred
Complete and clear backstamps. Mark: M for Morimura in a wreath, crowned by NORITAKE and below, Hand painted and Made in Japan . This mark was registered in 1918 and seems to have come in to use in the early 1920s when it was used until around 1940.
